On 4-21-92, The San Jose Police Department received a telephone call from Kevin Fairchild, owner of Cyte-M investigations Santa Clara. Fairchild advised that he had been retained by Hacker of Hewlett Packard Corporation to assist on the investigation of a potentially large theft of HP Laser Jet IIP printers. Fairchild asserted that the loss was expected to reach $750,000.00. As a direct result of that investigation it has been discovered that there were at least two thefts with a total retail loss of approximately 2.4 million dollars of equipment stolen from the warehouse facility on Story Road in San Jose, in January and February 1992.
Detective Roger Muller of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the San Jose Police Department conducted a joint investigation of this crime. After intensive investigation the following suspects have been arrested for Grand Theft, and Receiving Stolen Property. They are”
